Quoting john7buck

So last year I spent six more weeks travelling in Asia.

You're getting old, John. That was in Q4 2006!

Oh Man!! Do I hear what you are saying!!! 10 years working to travel and traveling to work and then I stopped in Cape Town and didn't know what to do next. That bug never goes away I think but it does get easier!

I just remind myself of the following now that I am settled in one spot:
- I always have hot water in the shower
- I can now own more than 2 pairs of shoes, 5 t-shirts, 2 pairs of shorts, a jumper and a pair of jeans (cos now I don't have to carry it everywhere in one pack!)
- I can finally make sense of all the thousands of photos and get them in a album
- Nothing I now own smells like diesel and dust
- I can drive MYSELF where ever I want to go (egyptian taxis can be frustrating!)
- I can now work all year and afford a big 3 week holiday at the end of it
- I don't have to wonder if I remembered today is malaria tablet day

You could consider getting a job in travel - I did - and passing on the stories/knowledge/advice to your clients keeps you enthusiastic and helps keep the bug at bay. :) Give it time mate!

Cheers, Tania
