This is a major worldwide disaster!
I hope wine prices will drop as a compensation

It doesn't bother me as I drink my special mineral water from South Africa.

Now now Q...take comfort in the fact that the largest quantity of malting barley grown anywhere in the world is right here in...you guessed it....Freedomland™ and her subsidiary to the north, Mountieville™, together known as "North America without Mexico". We grow enough to export to even the smallest beer producing nations, like OZ and China. And Europe? Ha, forget them...they're selling beer/orange juice mixes.....ick. We own the barley world, and they're going to have to play nice with us if they want beer. Muwahahahahahahahahahahaha

The worst aspect is not global warming.....our crack agricultural scientists can develop the finest zombie grains for brewing......no, it will be the shortage of hops. Those devilish little cones are exceptionally sensitive to the trivial things....time, soil, weather....

The average hop plant doesn't really start producing well until it's 3 years old...lots of time for a farmer to go out of business. It's like going into the guano business...what do you do while you wait for bats to crap?

Besides, the demons of the brewing world will never run out of beer as they've already sold their souls to the devil to get people to drink pale lagers in mass quantities. And the price can't increase too dramatically lest people move to liquor.

As long as farms exist, we'll have beer. OK, you need brewers too, but hey....

We control the beer supply. Now all is ours! Bow to the greatness!

Never fear folks, we shall make you beer.

Now stop worrying and start drinking.
