Umm... I take offense to "Body of water" as it may be confused with making claims of sexual orientation. Obviously since it is 'touching' other bodies of water we might have to simply refrain from saying 'body of water' and simply change to 'water.' although, simply calling it 'water' may imply that we are discriminating against 'land.' Having said that, those for land and against water are not accurately represented. Also, those for water and not for land are also not represented.

Then we will have the obvious problem of questioning the union of one body of land and one body of water. However, in court what will we do when the water recedes from the land? Even more confusing would be when the water engulfs the land. How will we treat the land/water combo when it wants to reproduce and form islands? Is high tide and low tide simply a work progression or act of infidelity? Is this a punishable cause? How do we begin to punish the land or water for their various acts of defiance? Are there separate but 'obviously equal' punishments for salt and fresh waters? Likewise, are there separate but 'obviously equal' punishments for various types of terrain?

Hats off to lagered for such a wonderful presentation on 'Land' and 'Water'

'Water' seems to be bisexual as it is the dominant partner and having the exclusive privilege of either to 'recede' and 'engulf' the poor and hapless 'land':)

While i thank you for your compliment i must dispute whom is the dominant partner. I pose this question, perhaps from our own expieriences (some more than others ) that this cyclic motion might in fact indicate a working end of this relationship. However, it is unclear to do sheer size ratios between said 'land' and 'water' whom would be 'giving' and whom would be 'receiving.' circumstantial evidence would point out that you have an 72% chance of being correct but what if the land 'just doesnt feel like doing the work?' Also, we must factor in climates, whether or not the particular 'water' is salt water or not, etc.

when are the islands 'love children' said to be entertaining these types of relations? are they witnessing the 'adult situations' that is happening on the beaches? whom will be in charge to enforce that the children cannot view these activities. Obviously, this is an outrage if they are watching what is happening on the beaches and action must be taken. I propose that we put a blockade of ships around each island to protect them from being corrupted at such a young age.

Ah HA!!!!! You've broken one of the cardinal rules of life....this one second only to "never start a land war in asia"........

You failed to take into account whether or not the "islands" (as you call them) would be grossly affronted by the insult of changing their names to "Love Children"....after all, they have a long and peaceful history of being called by their rightful ancestral names (spits of land), and here you go just randomly changing them to suit your own fanatical plot to rule the world. Who do you think you are Mr.? Google???

We the peaceful citizens of "land" demand an immediate retraction of this gross affront to our sensitive nature. Or else. Really, or else. Honest. Then you must cut down the mightiest tree in the forest......with a herring.

I will do no such thing!

Here is my problem with your retort. My slang term 'love children' takes into account that you (land person) also are called other things such as Human, Land Person, Beerman...etc. Therefore, my calling them 'love children' is by no means offensive. Here in Freedomland™ I am given the right™ to wage my opinion. However, I apologize for calling them 'love' 'children.' This would imply that the children (islands) were made in an honest attempt to complete the life cycle of 'water' and 'land.' what about those islands whom were a product of a 'just another drunken escapade ending in all sorts of wrong.' for these i apologize. i shall seek the forgiveness of the earlier nominated congress and await my penance (non-religious penance of course*).

No, no, you see? You've completely missed the point. Let me tell you my point, because I know: You Freedomlanders™ are always trying to keep us Landers™ down under your Imperial thumbs. You're always trying to tell us what to wear, what to eat, what grade of oil you'd like in your SooperSUV's, what our Lander™ political situation should be, why our religious icons aren't as good as your religious icons...yadda yadda yadda. I'll have you know, our religious icons were building entire civilizations using only dung and dull spork long before your religious icons could even pee their own pants!!! Put that in your FreedomPipe™ and smoke it, Infidel!!!!!!!!!!

Now, because of your horrid affront to our fanatical beliefs, we are going to cover our islands with the finest black polyester fabrics so that you may no longer insult them by gazing upon their beauty. Pfthhhhhh.

And just so you don't think I'm all attack and no compassion....that Tway person said you weren't fit to sleep with pigs. But I stood up for you........I said you were. Feel the warmth?

Iran has illegally annexed islands in the ARABIAN Gulf belonging to the peaceful country of the United Arab Emirates and now they want to call it the "Persian" Gulf?

Some countries call it the Arabian Gulf, most others outside the region do not, like you can read here. If you don't agree, that's fine.

I've taken to calling it 'the Gulf of Beeristan'. I hope no-one minds.
