Hi,
I'm heading to Toronto in a couple of weeks and I have been recommended the Canadiana Backpackers Inn by a couple of friends.
When will you be there?? ![]()
hey thanks for that one, looks pretty good..ill be arriving 1st June so maybe see u there! ![]()
I'll be in Newfoundland then but back in Toronto at the end of June. Enjoy ![]()
I took a look at the HI hostel on Church the other day just to see how Toronto hostels compare to those around the world.
I give it a 4 star rating. Give it a chance.
I live in Toronto, so therefore haven't stayed at any of the hostels, but I've checked out locations of a few of them, and they aren't bad. In addition, I've checked up on reviews, to see what others are saying. I put most of what I know in the Toronto Guide on this site.
Already mentioned, which have gotten good reviews and are in the good location:
Also in good locations and the reviews seem to be good:
Coming in the summer is also good because student residences of Toronto's universities offer summer housing for travellers.
There are links, phone numbers and addresses in the article in the guide for all locations except the UofT residence, which I included in this post.
Cheers,
Greg
The Global Village is excellent fun every night of the week though. It has a bar in, it which is really well done. So if you are trying to get some sleep the Global would not be recomended. If you want to stay there on the weekend while your in Toronto it is great fun!
