Dear All,

I am currently searching for a way to get from Singapore to the Thai-Malaysian border via day travel without having to take the night buses to Hatyai. Other than the 7pm buses from Golden Mile at Singapore, there are no other buses (to my knowledge) that leaves in the morning.

My idea is to catch a 6:30am bus from Singapore which will reach Puduraya (Kuala Lumpur) at approximately 12:30pm. From there, I would like to find a bus that travels up north that passes by, or to the border. However, my research tells me that most buses to Hatyai leave at about 9-10:30pm at night, which ultimately throws me back into the same situation if I were to take a direct bus from Singapore.

Can anyone please advise whether there are any buses that leave Puduraya to Hatyai/Sadao/Bukit Kayu Hitam in the early afternoon? It doesnt matter where the bus goes as long as I can get myself to the border, as I can make my own way from there. Or can anyone suggest an alternative method of travelling that does not require me to sit on the bus at night?

Thank you very much.

Jordan

Opposite Pudu Raya there are many bus companies to Hatyai and Bukit Kayu Hitam. If I am not mistaken, there are different departures from KL. The problem is that you might need to do some walk-ins to know their schedules.

hi there, there prob wont be many buses going direct to the border most will go form Panang to Had yai, you dont really want to be spending the night in had yai as it pretty rough i would recomend maybe head to panang and go from there or maybe a night in the Camaron highlands, or why not fly air asia which is pretty cheap?
