hi i will be travelling the east coast of the states from the 28th december (i know its gonna be very cold). are there any places of interest i should visit as i will be travelling alone and can anyone recommend any places to stay.

The first question is how long are you staying. At this time of year you may want to stick to the southern states perhaps DC and south though NYC is great this time of year. Some places you may enjoy are Colonial Williamsburg, Charleston, SC, and I'd certainly recommend Florida this time of year. St. Augustine is great as well as the theme parks in Orlando and Busch Gardens in Tampa. Naples is a great city as well. It may not be to bad in Hershey, Lancaster, and Gettysburg, Pa. which are places I recommend as well. Have a nice trip. |

Have you planned your trip yet? I recommend the following places: NYC (so much to see there); Boston; if you like to ski then I recommend Vermont (Killington); DC; Florida-Ft. Lauderdale, Naples and Miami..the keys as well. Enjoy |

Good work, cant beat abit of America travelling if you ask me Got anything in mind? Where are you starting and finishing? how long is the trip? Are you driving? I started in Miami and went all the way to Toronto up the East Coast. I can provide you of a list of places i visited, lengths stayed and accomodation found. |
