"If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is."
Google has several stories from people who found the site to have bait 'n switch like tactics; e.g. they'll advertise a very very cheap price, but when you go to actually book it, that option suddenly has disappeared - the intent is that by that point you'll have invested so much into booking through them already that you'll complete the booking process for a price which you could find on any other website as well.
They're basically just another consolidator dealing in unsold seats. Just because they advertise the fare does not mean it's available for purchase except for a few specific dates. At one time they might have heard that an airline wanted to fill unsold seats at a particular price, they list that price, and it appears to clients that they have many seats at this rate. Just like airlines that advertise a low fare, but do not tell you that only 10 seats on a particular flight will be sold at that fare. It's not bait and switch, but you have to know how to play the game. It's all a question of timing - sometimes you're lucky, and sometimes not. If you know these sites (others are lastminutetickets.com, lastminute.com, etc.) and visit them many times, you might be lucky. Same with airlines - I spent 12 hours online not long ago getting a good fare to SE Asia, and I finally got it. Airlines do not like to fly with empty seats.
