You guys are making me homesick! I miss eating fish'n'chips out of the newspaper on the beach in NZ!

ohhh they have the best chips !!! i miss having a proper chipper here, the dutch chips are not as good sorry guys and the mayo tastes strange and they look at you with ten heads if you want vinegar........

Fish and chips in Britain is normally over-rated though, it is a bit greasy. The best fish and chips is in New Zealand, they seem to get the batter light and crispy rather than stodgy. Specially that little chippy in Waiheke island, it's great! They call chips 'hot chips' though.

Best way to eat them is outta newspaper, you need to be somewhere coastal and it needs to be cold and the wind blowing in your face!!!! And washed down with a cup of tea!!!!!!

God - now lm hungry!!
