sfrx has indicated that this thread is about Seychelles

I am going on an 8 day sailing trip to Seychelles. After the trip, I would like to add on a trip to the continent. Zanzibar, Madagascar or Victoria Falls. I only have 15 days. I can't find any direct flights. any ideas or help is appreciated.

well, if you wanted to go to any of those places, i would imagine that you'd have to connect through nairobi, dar es salam, johannesburg, cairo, or any other major city. i see that you're from the states...so if you're heading off the east coast, you'll be able to connect pretty easily through a major african city. if you wanted zanzibar, just go to dar and then catch the ferry over to zanzibar. its very easy. i would think that vic falls, you could easily connect through joburg. i don't know much about madagascar, but do know you can connect through joburg as well. what are you looking for? more beach/ocean or safari? you could head over to dar and then head up to arusha. or if you have your heart set on vic falls, just do all your connections through joburg. hope that helps! i can give you more specifices if you tell me what type of trip you're looking for.

Either way you could start from Jburg to Victoria falls the to East Africa precisely Dar int Zanzibar. Depending on you you could connect Air Madagascar / Mauritius / Seychelles / Emirates / Kenya Airways from Nairobi.

To get to Madagascar you could go via Mauritius or Joburg but quite frankly 15 days is not enough time to do much in Madagascar plus it could get quite expensive. Zanzibar great if you love beaches. Vic Falls is brilliant and you could also book a trip to Botswana from there quite cheaply. Just remember if you go to Zimbabwe, take US dollars or SA Rand and dont use cash machines.
