Has anyone ever visited the Dumas home called Monte Cristo? What did you do that was great in Paris? Need some suggestions. We will be going to Paris for 2 weeks in September.

Thanks in advance!:):)

The Catacombs and Pere Lachaise cemetery. I sound like a broken record about those two places, but they're quite wonderful!

I was going to make the same two suggestions. There are some famous graves in the Pere Lachaise cemetery, my favourite being that of Oscar Wilde.

Go and visit the Palace of Versailles for the day.
Go on a cruise on the Seine.

Dinner cruise on the Seine was surely the most exciting part of my Paris trip, ahhh Paris was so wonderful by night, glittering all the way..

My favorite museums are Musee d'Orsay and Musee Rodin. If you go to Rodin first you can buy a ticket for both together and then you get to skip the lines at the Musee d'Orsay. The Memorial de la Deportation (located just behind Notre Dame) is pretty interesting. Personally I'd also hit the Medici Fountain. Cheers!
