Does anyone know how the BUNAC flight conditions work for Canada? Ive heard you have to have a flight leaving North America, but I was planning on flying into Vancouver, going overland to South America and flying home from Argentina.
I dont want to have to book a flight I wont be needing. Is there any way around this?
Hey there, Im going to Canada and got my visa thro BUNAC. I didnt book my flights with them as in a similar situation. However, as long as you purchase a ticket showing that you are planning on leaving N.America (within a year) then its okay. I bought one flying into toronto, out from vancouver and then on to NZ via hawaii and fiji. When u heading to Canada?
Im planning to fly out in January. When you say you need a ticket leaving North America - does this have to be a plane ticket? Like I said im planning on going overland, and my return ticket to the UK would be from South America, so im not sure it would be allowed.
Sounds like youve booked quite a trip - youll love New Zealand.
I wouldnt think it would need to be a plane ticket, just some sort of ticket which shows you are intending to leaving Canada. I guess your best bet would be to email BUNAC direct, and they will let you know for sure..
I went to NZ once before but only for a month, so really excited to be going back!!
