Do It ,do it ,do it !

I am turning 40 this year and I started travelling when I was 18,and have been so fortunate to see alot of the world even holding down a brilliant career.

But whilst your free to enjoy life while you are 22 with no children or partner, do it now.

Go embrase it, smell it , taste it and enjoy it. I feel in love with the experience and never held back on what was passionate for me.

Why ? Is because the people that told me 22 years ago told me the same thing, you have been told. Funny enough none of them have even left Australia, because most were scared to take the plung themselves.

I am making my 3 trip again to Vietnam in 1 year in 3 weeks, and I a taking my children to celebrate my birthday, and to experience the passion I belive so strong in and thats why I say Do it Sweets .

Good luck and happy travels

I travel as often I can and love it every time more.
was in Cuba,Ecuador,Peru,Chile, even made it to Antarctica, just came back from Argentina again.
Enjoy travelling alone, and I'm getting 64 in July
so every age is fantastic for travelling the world,no reason to feel old with just 40

My mum encouraged me to travel.I started when I was 17 and am still at it 2 years later, bless her heart. My parents even pay for my tickets, they say I am the spy, finding the little hidden treasures that most people would miss. They are planning a big trip for when my younger brother is a little older. I was really happy to read your encouragements, because I have friends where when I go home for visits, they ask me what do I want from life. I sit and think for a moment and say the same thing everytime, "when I grow-up I think I will want to be happy" I think exploring the wanderlust I have is what is going to help me grow up. So lets spread the word and tell everyone; if you want to see the amazon go to the amazon, if you want to eat french cheese eat it in france, and if you want to tell an interesting story that will make everyone listen with awe, make sure it starts with "I remember this one time in Rome*...."

Once again thanks.

  • Not necessarily Rome, but you make sure the highlights of your life aren't "this one time at band camp sally dropped her clarinet in the river."
