Damn those pesky Croatians. They knocked England out, and know they have beaten Germany, who i have in the office sweepstakes. They are really trying to spoil Euro 2008 for me

I'm with you, Dave, although Germany was in poor form last night. And you cannot imagine how sad everyone was when they lost. It's really amazing to see how emotional people (and mainly guys ;)) get over the soccer .

Get over germany. Holland will rule Europe (won over France last night, stunning 4-1, lost my voice there)
A Holland-Germany final would be awesome though;).

A Holland-Germany would be a very boring match.............. The Italians still have hope.............. Maybe Italian-Portuguese Final??

It wouldnt be a bad idea for holland to let the Romanians win. Holland will play with the secondary team anyways. It would be good for holland to get rid of Italia en France for definit.

Holland-Portugal then? also an awesome match. Basically every match with Holland is awesome

So what do u say now eh?

Sometimes it' s not too bad to be wrong .... but who could predict this after 4 years of really bad football.

They play good at the right moment. But I should not be too enthausiastic too. Let's see how they play against Russia. In the semi's probably Italy awaits again. I am really scared for that one, honostly speaking. Next saturday will be a nice party. I think even Rene's boring village of Arcen will be orange...;)

No the boring place is still boring, and with just a little orange added. I am going over to Arnhem tonight to see the game with some friends. I hope next sunday will be an even bigger party (final is on sunday, places 3 and 4 will be decided on saturday)

I think Spain will beat Italy, because for the first time in year, Spain actually seems to have a real team, where the Italians, are just 11 players. (but all my preditions about the quarter finals, were wrong so far.)

Turkey's total land area is about 779,452 square kilometers, of which 755,688 square kilometers are in Asia and 23,764 square kilometers in Europe. Therefore, 3% of Turkey is within Europe, making them a predominately Asian country.

The total area of Russia is 17,075,400 square kilometres. The western areas of Russia that lie within Europe comprise roughly 3,960,000 km², meaning that the total area of Russia within Europe is 23%. While some could argue that the fact that the 3.9 million km² of Russia within Europe comprises something like 40% of the land mass of Europe (assuming you don't include Greenland as part of Europe) that they should be considered the biggest the most important state, the fact that most of their land lies within Asia should make them a predominately Asian country.

So, with 3 of the 4 semi-finalist set for the Euro 2008, it looks like a decent possibility that an Asian country might win the Henri Delaunay Trophy this year. A MOCKERY!

It's a good thing that England decided not to participate this year in this shame of a tournament. Hell, the way things are going, next Euro in 2012 Japan or Guatemala or Canada might win.

Okay, probably not Canada...
