It's a good thing that England decided not to participate this year in this shame of a tournament.

decided? ......

A Holland-Germany would be a very boring match.............. The Italians still have hope.............. Maybe Italian-Portuguese Final??

Holland-Portugal then? also an awesome match. Basically every match with Holland is awesome

Yea, pretty awesome to see how the Russians kicked the Dutch team out of the competition.........
Italian - Germany Finals perhaps?

Russia was just better, I admit. Congrats to all Russians (assholes;)). The dutch coach Hiddink of Russia did well (persona non grata but well done). Now I would prefer a Russia-Germany final.

I'd like to see Germany v Spain/Russia in the final. Italy have been disappointing, but i wouldn't be surprised to see them scrape through.

Turkey have been unbelievable, i read a statistic that they have only been in the lead for 2 minutes of the entire championship - yet they are still in the semi final!!

The statistics are against Spain/Holland winning anyway, no team that has won all 3 group games have won the cup since 1984. It's ashame to see Holland go, they play great football and there supporters are amazing.

I'm still gunning for Germany though as they are my sweepstake team.

Its indeed freaky. I was pretty bored by that match against Croatia and was preparing for penalties. When Croatia scored in the 119th minute (2-3 minutes before the end...including extra time) everybody was sure the match was decided...semi final for Croatia. Then out of the blue Turkey hits the net 2 minutes later....just totally nuts but very spectacular. Then the penalties came....where Croatia shoots 2 penalties not even near the goal. It was a mental breakdown for the Croatians. But very spectacular. After the game i only heard horns blowing from cars of Turkish immigrants...it was nuts.

Italians out after penalties! Spain is playing very well. Spain-Russia will be an interesting semi-final.

Just proving the old adage that "the only score that matters is the one when the final whistle blows."

I believe it will be Spain versus Turkey in the final, with Spain emerging clear winner in the finals without extra time and penalty shoot-outs........ what u guys think?

Is there in India as much attention for EURO 2008 as there was for the world championships in 2006? The Indian ESPN then broadcasted all the games.
