I was in Malaysia 2 weeks ago. Maybank had a limit of RM1500. I also used ATMs in some other banks and the limit was either RM1000 or RM1500

Limit per transaction varies between RM 1000 to RM 1500 per transaction per withdrawal not exceeding RM 3000 a day..

Here are some reference for you :

Maybank - RM 1500 per w/drawal
Public Bank - RM 1000 per w/drawal
CIMB Bank - RM 1500 per w/drawal
HSBC Bank - RM 1500 per w/drawal
Affin Bank - RM 1000 per w/drawal

Preferably, if you do not know how much you will be spending, get a debit card..it's easier and slightly cheaper compare to withdrawing a few times...besides, expenses here are way cheaper that the western countries....you can try to estiamate since the only few countries here that have a higher cost of living....USD 100 in Singapore and Malaysia may not really seem much but in Indonesia, Cambodia etc. it's a lot...

Hope it helps you a lot.

In Vietnam, it's VND2 millions per draw. They will charge you some percent of banking fee.
