Hello everyone!
I'm going to Madrid in October for the tennis masters, and I could use some help with finding a cheap but good hotel/hostel. Does anybody happen to know where in Madrid the venue for the masters is? And what would be the best place to get a hotel?
Also, what is the weather like in October? (16 - 21 October).
Any other tips/suggestions are also welcome! Thanks in advance!

Hello Eruwen
I went to Madrid in october of 2002 and all I needed at the time was a light jacket or maybe a sweater
At the time I wanted to go I could not find a hotel for a reasonable price, so I did the next best thing and stayed in a hotel on the town next to Madrid.
it was not far from madrid, it took about 10 to 20 (20 kilometers) minutes by bus, and the bus was only 1 or 2 Euro
the name of the town was Torrelodones
this is the hotel

the name of the hotel was Best Western Hotel Torrelodones
it was a very nice and save town
hope this helps

I stayed at a really nice hostal in Madrid about a 20 min bus ride from the center of the city. It's called Albergue de San Fermin and was only about 8 euros per night and included breakfast but you share a room with 7 other people. However it was still pretty quiet and it is really clean and nice. If you want more info send me a message.
