I think that taking the stairs to the top of the CN Tower would also have to be included in a Canadian "Amazing Race"! Hmmm...and maybe a pit stop in the Niagara wineries....!!!

As for my answers....I think the stunts are most important, sometimes they really involve you into a countries culture, and what they do for fun. Sometimes you get the greatest views as well, I remember zipcording through the rainforest when I was in Costa Rica last year...

I think I would take my sister with me, she's a bit younger than me, but very strong willed and determined.

Places I would like to go....pretty much everywhere I think...I open to anything!!

Uh, I forgot the last question...sorry!!!

Ok so how cool was yesterday's challenge in Auckland? For those who don't get the Amazing Race, what they had to do was climb a hanging ladder from a boat in the harbour up 75 feet to this bridge, and then had to walk on the steel beams (part of the bridge's structure) to get to the other side of the bridge, and then they had to basically step off and plumet towards the boat! How wicked!!! Please AMAZING RACE, make the Canadian version or allow us on the show!!!!!

hello, i noticed this thread has been mostly responded by canadians. well im a malaysian and i never miss a single show of amazing race since season 3.

Im proud to say that amazing race has been to malaysia a few times. if im not mistaken once in kuala lumpur and another in sabah. and its latest season has been to 2 places that i just went to: St. Petersburg and Dubai. i was so xcited, u have no idea!

Here in Malaysia, we also have some sort of 'amazing race' reality game genre which is called 'explorace' now coming to its 2nd season. unlike the americans, 'explorace' does not have a huge budget so the race is 75% in malaysia, east and west coast. the final top 3 teams went to australia (perth i think) for some of the final leg of the race. I didnt watch every episode, so they might have gone to other countries that i dont know.

I wanted to participate but work and study commitments didnt allow me. maybe next time, huh? amazing race just won an emmy for best reality show 2nd year running, way the go!

I wish the Canadian networks would think of making a Canadian version of the Amazing Race. I would take time off to do it for sure.

Yesterday was the last episode for this season's Race. Personally, I wanted Colin and Christie to win because they really were the best team (despite their fights and Colin blowing up a lot). They were truly the ones who played smart. If it hadn't been for Chip and Kim yielding them, they would have definitely won. Anyway, whatever the outcome, the only thing I could think of was "WHAT AM I GOING TO WATCH NOW?!??!". Until the next Amazing Race then!

That's so funny - my perception of Colin and Christie was the complete opposite. They were willing to do whatever it took to win - but would berate anyone else who did the same. But maybe I just liked Chip and Kim a lot. They'd been married long enough that they were beyond the constant fighting and respected one another for what they could and couldn't do.

Brandon and Nicole, though - he was the most patient (almost annoyingly so) partner, and she laced into him for everything. I was hoping they'd plop off the luge so I could watch her throw another temper tantrum...

But! Yes, a Canadian version. Where do I sign up????

A flight delay from Canada to the U.S. decided the race. Good, that's my life.

"Flight 8640 from Toronto to Atlanta is now delayed until 8:10am."

One thing I have to say about Chip and Kim: she didn't do ANY ROAD BLOCK! Not a single one! It was like "What? Road block? Why are you looking at me Chip, I TOLD you you'd be doing those". Chip was all cheery and Kim was like do what i tell you to do, therefore they got on my nerves at the end. I liked Colin and Christie in the beginning, but he was pretty tough on her whenever they started to lag. I didn't find Nicole to be as bad as you say, and Brandon can do whatever he wants cause he is hot! But honestly, like Greg said, a flight delay changed the entire dynamic of the race. That is what is called just plain luck for Chip and Kim, because had they not been as late as they were in booking a flight from Calgary to Dallas, they wouldn't have known about the delay. Oh well! Life is like that!

Yeah, I kept yelling at the TV "C'mon, Kim, it's your turn!" I think I just disliked the other two teams more. In the end it came down to being in the right place at the right time. As you say, just like in life!

Thought I'd just bring this thread back up to see who's still interested in the Amazing Race. The new Amazing Race started last week, and I'm back in my usual groove of watching it... thank god! SO who's watching it this time around? Who do you guys like/hate? I personally cannot stand Jonathan (the married entrepreneur). He's such a beast! And I must say there are some pretty hot men this time around... Freddy, YUM, and Jon as well (of the Kris and Jon group). And I must say that I never really thought of Iceland as a destination to visit, but it was so beautiful! I'm sorry for my ignorance and it is now DEFINITELY on my list of must sees!

Agree that Iceland looked very cool. However, I really feel that I should explorer Northern Canada before going to Iceland. Kind of like a patriotic duty.

Jonathan is a shallow boob, and Victoria is a gold-digging ex-playboy model. I think they deserve each other.

I like Jon and Kris and Lena and Kristy. Both of those teams seem to be enjoying the experience, and they are doing quite well (even with Lena and Kristy's gaff of going the wrong way last week - but I think they'll make it back up). I also like Hayden and Aaron.
