my name is frida, and obviously I'm new to this forum.
my deal is this : i'm not good with the internet and not good at figuring things out, and getting the info I need, but... this is my deal :
I'm staying in copenhagen for a week in July, 18th - up to 25th, but I want to be in prague on the 25th. so I need your help and tips with the best(fastest preferably) way to get to prague. I've read somwhere that trains from berlin to prague take under 5 hours, so I'm willing to do that, if I get to berlin... but I saw somwhere else that would take almost 8 hours (?) so, over a 13 hour travel is not that tempting to me.
any help and suggestion is well recieved
Look for flights to Prague or Berlin.
The fast train takes 4 hours from Berlin to Prague and the fare is roughly 45 EUR.
It is possible to take the train from Kopenhagen all the way to Prague, here the travelling time is between 12 and 20 hours depending upon the connection.
You can look up the trains at http://www.bahn.de
Colleagues do this with great frequency, and though i go surface, it's best to fly direct.
There are a number of companies that fly cheaply between Copenhagen and Prague. Flights Kbh-berlin are normally cheaper, but then the train cost and added time more than offset the costs of direct flights.
Sky Europe, Cimber (apparently very good with leather seats and free food/booze on most planes), Sterling and Click4sky all fly and are budget airlines, as well as the big name SAS and Czech who are often decently priced
