Same old questions always come up...and I have read lots of advice on here of how to pack, what to take, etc etc...but i am still stuck!
Some back packs are 30 quid...some are 130 quid...can any one advise me of a decent make...I am totally confused about top openings side openings, different materials, what brands are good, how much to spend...ARGH!!!
A basic sum up of a decent brand would be appreciated...
Cheers my dears...
Yep, it's a difficult one. There are so many out there.
I used a Karrimor, which is one of the top brands and cost £130. It has a 'lifetime' warranty, and I've heard of peopl sending them back if they get torn, and getting a replacement, so good service. But probably only worth it if you intend to keep if for yonks.
On the other hand, I sold mine for £50 when I got back, so felt I'd had a good £80 worth of use out of it.
Alternatively, you can probably get a good pack for a one-off trip for a year or so for around £50.
Not sure what brands you can get hold of, but own brands of the UK's 'Blacks' shops are probably pretty good. Wynnster is a 'cheaper' UK brand that has usually made good quality stuff in my experience.
Best to decide on the TYPE and SIZE you want, then look for the best deal, and decide whether you need it to last a lifetime, or just a year or two.
ok...now its time to shop!! thanx for the advice
