One of the blights of travel for those of us who are perpetually nomadic is of course the "V" word.
I went on a working holiday to the UK (just me and about 300,000 other Australians), and I (and many of them) had an absolute ball.
I'm keen to go back but there is of course the visa issue. I'm now over 30 and of course getting a second WHM visa isn't an option.
I don't really fit into many of the other categories for visas. If anyone has any ideas or experiences they wish to contribute I'd love to hear them!
Have you considered a working holiday visa for Ireland?
Ah that would be wonderful. Unfortunately I checked Ireland's department of foreign affairs site which seems to be up to date, and they only take Australian's up to the age of 30 (inclusive); too young for my apparently venerable 34 years .
Oh to be Canadian; they can apply up to the age of 35!
At least you're not American....
I'm no expert on this, but what about a short term visa for the EU? In Italy at least you have the option of renewing your 3 month stay *once* if you have proof of sufficient funds to support your travels.
