I'm heading for Iceland for the first time this weekend & would appreciate any hints or advice you guys could give - yes, I know It's expensive Places to visit on foot in Reykjavik, buses easy to use? Trips easy to organise? etc etc

Fun things for a lone female visitor - keep it clean!

Only joking, words of wisdom would help.

ps Any of the locals going to the 'Skovbo' exhibit by Viggo Mortensen on Sat??

Hmmm... I didn't even know he had an exhibit here... But I would say that you should go to Perlan and Hallgrímskirkja. Both are amazing viewpoints of the city and both are well in walking distance of the centre.
I don't really know what your interests are, but have a look at for ideas about what to do.
