Hello all,

Im finally doing it, im heading to oz next month, but just have a quick question.

Do i need a vacination card or do i have to have any jabs to enter the country?

Has anyone here been asked for this at the airport?

Thank you for any help

Mike

Im from England and im sure i dont need to bring a Vacination card. The only thing im sure you will have to have is a Yellow fever certificate required if over 1 year old when entering Australia within 6 days of having stayed overnight or longer in an area with risk of yellow fever transmission.

A good UK website is http://www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk/

When i went to do the doctors they gave me Diphtheria, Tetanus, Poliomyelitis, Haemophilus influenzae type b vaccine ( Hep B ) and Typhoid. But most of that was just because i said on the way back i would be going through SE Asia. this was free at my UK doctor.

Hope this has helped
Leon

Haemophilus influenzae type b is not Hep B - it is known as Hib.
