Hi guys.

I am in need of some advice on money to take away. Next year i am planning a 4-5 month trip around the world.I am starting in America, moving onto New Zealand and Oz, and finishing in Thailand/Loas/Vietnam. Possibly going to Rio for a coupe of days as well.

Can someone let me know of what sorts of things i will need to take into account when i am travelling. I dont want to use any credit cards so i am purely saving for this. I will not be working at all so what does everyone reckon?

I have no idea of Visa requirements and costs in each country. I have a year to do this.

Any advice would be great

Cheers
Joel

As far as cost is concerned, I'd put it this way:

USA/Canada - expensive $100. a day
Mexico/Brazil - moderate $65. a day
Indochina/Thailand - inexpensive $45. a day
NZ/Oz - expensive $100. a day

these are my estimates only, but here's documentation/2007:

in order for visa info, you'll have to tell us which passport you hold?

It may be an idea to specify currency when using the $ symbol, as quite a lot of countries use that symbol for their currency! For example, in your list USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand all definitely use that symbol and call their currency by the same name (dollar).
