The best volunteer experience w/o qualifications required?

Travel Forums General Talk The best volunteer experience w/o qualifications required?

What volunteer thing would you be feeling you could do the most good which you wouldn't need qualifications for?
I wouldn't be interested in teaching or working with children just to narrow it down for you a bit.
By the way money is no problem, I would be willing to pay for the best experience. Are there any well-known organisations that so I would actually be able to tell people I'm really doing something when I tell them I'm going travelling?

Is that just teaching though? What about humanitarian relief or something like that?

Hi Marcus, you could do community work like building homes with i-to-i as well. I am not sure about UK but normally in Aus, humanitarian relief- type of volunteering would need some specific skills and applications are quite competitive.
What about Relief International? (www.ri.org) they are based in US though
