I just noticed a consistency problem with the print blog format in lieu of the changes made to the manage area (sorting by dates etc).
In the Entry range to include: section the blog posts are numbered based on entry (i think). So its a 1,2,3,4 etc style.
So if one has entered in a posting our of sync with the original entry, ie, gone back in time. The Entry range does not change. It always asks you to select based on the 1,2,3,4 approach. So the blog prints out of date order.
Am I right here with this?
If so I guess the next question is how to work around it?
Yep, that'd be an oversight based on those other changes. Sorted by date makes much more sense here, so I've gone ahead and implemented the fix. While I was at it, I set this up to follow the date format that each blog has had set under the blog settings page. So now the entry dates and commentdates match up perfectly with what you had set.
Who said we don't aim to please?!
Let me know if you find any mistakes here. I have to run out so pushed it live without as much testing of edge cases as I'd like to have run it through.
Thanks for that!
I put it through some query's of my own and everything came out perfect.
The only think that I have come across, and it might just me on my side but, once a HTML file is generated (in this case with nothing but text selected) and you try to save as. My web browser crashes in the case of Firefox. I just tried it with IE 7 and it took about 3 mins before it said the webpage could not be saved.
The PDF prints out perfectly. It's a great feature to have.
Thanks again for the help
