I'm hoping to emigrate to Massachusetts and I was wondering if anyone could help me a little or point me in the right direction.

I am about to start a teacher training course (elementary school) in the UK. It's a year long course as I already have a Bachelors degree. I want to know if when I'm qualified I will be able to transfer it to the American system or if I should just hold off and try and do the course in America.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I can't say exactly but do be aware that rules vary from state to state

I not 100% certain, but my aunt is an elementary teacher in Mass and I think she said you need a Master's nowadays. Again, not sure if that is just elementary or if I heard the convo wrong, but def do some research before jumping the gun. Don't want to get all the way there and then find out you can't get hired.

P.S. If you're not set on Massachusetts, states such as Texas (and others with not the greatest education systems) have looser rules and may offer you more possibilities.
