Travel Forums Europe Europe for 6 months

I'm travelling around Europe (France,London,Rome,Spain,Munich,Amsterdam ans Iceland) for a period of 6 months, starting off with Paris as my sister is a permant resident, I'm from singapore. Paris would be my base. I'm aware of the fact that my maximum visa is only 90 days within a period of 180 days.

So my initial plan was to go morocco, travel a few days then enter thru Spain for a re-new 90 days visa but after reading this forum, I realise it's not feasible or wise. Is there any loophole or legal way for me not to get entangle with the law when i depart for home in dec ?

I would be hitting London in early July, Rome in mid-aug, spain in sept, Munich in late sept for oktoberfest, Amsterdam in mid october and finally Iceland in Nov, duration of stays per countries is on the avg of 4 days other than Iceland which would be about 2 - 3 weeks as i have another sister over there.

The other issue being that I'm already in Paris so going thru the proper channel is more or less out of the question. It's too late for me applied for a 6 months visa.

Please advise

Not really - and with the countries that you've listed the only non-schengen ones are Morocco and the UK (London). The best solution is to pen in more non-schengen countries so that you don't overstay within the zone. Obviously, you could spend all of this time in Morocco as you qualify for a visa free stay of up to 3 months, or in the UK, but you could also include Switzerland (if you go before 1st November 2008, when it will become Schengen), Romania, Bulgaria, Andorra, Turkey, and the Republic of Ireland. You shouldn't have too much trouble modifying your itinerary so you don't have to overstay.

i think the schengen visa allows you 90 days every 6 months... so i dont think you can come in for 90 days, go to morocco for a week and then come back and have the 90 days again... i think in the 6 months youre in europe you can only spend 3 of them in schengen countries...

Yes - sorry should have been clearer, when I say 'pen in more time in non-schengen countries', I mean 3 months of time so that you meet the visa requirement overall...
