Was the original thread that I started with this title deleted by a mod after that spam reply?

I think it could be me. I was deleting a few spams at the same time and I could have deleted yours by mistake. I thought I noticed something went wrong halfway through deleting the spams, but couldn't point my finger to it. Now seeing this message, I think this should be it. Sorry about that. :(

What was the original question btw ?

Wasn't really a question, just my thoughts on the small changes that happened a couple of days ago.

I've actually just checked in Firefox and notice there isn't really any major difference from before in that browser, however using IE7 (on Vista) there has been a change - the background colour in the Thread Subject column is all white now, it doesn't alternate (same for number of replies, and last poster columns). Also in individual forums the background colour for amount of views is all white (except in the All Threads listing which does alternate background colour).

My other observation, which I was going to post about ages ago but didn't, is that the difference in the alternating background colours is not that big, and for someone who may have impaired vision it might not be that clear. Having reasonably different background colours helps to make the presentation clearer.

There hasn't really been any change to the styles on the site actually.

What I did do though is move the stylesheet's location. There was some initial permissions problems when the move was made. I'm not sure if perhaps your browser has cached the result it was getting at that point? Perhaps a refresh will clear it up.

Good point about alternating colours. I've actually been working on a somewhat different layout for the forums - if you're interested in having a look, PM me your email address and I'll send an example through. I think it may fix this issue. Happy for any feedback, just bear in mind things are still rough :)

No joy yet on getting my IE browser displaying the forum as before! Have refreshed a few times both today & yesterday. Have sent a PM to you.

Hmm, this wil require more investigation. I'll get it looked at tomorrow. I don't have IE on my Mac here.

I'm having the same problem in both IE7 and FF2. The bullet and quote images in the travel guide is no longer showing since a couple of days ago.

Hah, this looks more basic. A bunch of files weren't uploaded. Uploading now, stay tuned.

Ok, problem solved. Images are in place now.. Let me know if it's still causing issues.
