Travel Forums Australia / New Zealand & The Pacific Medicare or Travel Insurance?

So i need to figure this out. Should i buy a years worth of Travel Insurance for 425 CAD and use my Canadian passport, or pay 225 for my British passport and use the reciprocal Medicare card. Is the reciprocal agreement sufficient or simply subsidized?

Cheers,

Paul

Even with a Medicare card under the Reciprocal Healthcare Agreement (between UK & Australia) you should also have full travel insurance.

So this TIC insurance looks like an amazing deal. 490$ for a year at this point.

Whats the catch?!

It all looks good to me.
