Why is it when im putting in the picture details and typing the location, various locations come up, but if I try to use them by clicking on them they sometimes/most times dont transfer.

Its also annoying when you do a bulk upload and it comes back that it wants more info, but doesnt tell you where it wants the info, this takes way too much time to have to look through all the deatails of each picture and figure out if something is wrong somewhere or left out. When you fill out other online forms they will highlight the area that is in question.

I'll have to get this problem with the suggestion list looked at more closely. It seems to work OK for me, but perhaps it can be improved.

There is actually some indication, though now you mention it, it probably is not clear enough. Next each required field, there is an asterisk (*) and there is a note higher up saying that those fields are required. I think you're right though that we should make it colour co-ordinated to be more obvious. Will see what I can do.

It all makes sense to me. But having a field show up in blue or red highlight would make it easier :)

Just to add something of my own pet peeves here. I find the batch uploader to be a lot more user friendly than the single file. The single file seems to through too much at you to do before uploading, while the batch justs asks three or four things. I know its all not required on the single upload, but the sight of so much is scary to some I suspect.

Also, is it me or does the Batch automatically take your EXIF data as the take taken and the Single not? The reason I mention this is because Date Taken shows up on the Single as an entry to be filled in. Hence I use the batc even to upload one!

It's not you, it's just the way it's designed. In the single upload, you submit the form and upload the photo at the same time, so you have to key in all the information manually and the server will save whatever you entered. As for bulk upload, the form appears after the photos have been uploaded, so the server can retrieve the EXIF data and fill in the captured data for you. The bulk is still in beta/testing phase. I think once it's confirmed that there's no more problem with it, we could do away with the single upload. :)
