This thread is marked as being about Australia

Hi, Im completely new to this. Stumbled onto the website by accident, while googling for what I'm searching for - which is - how to find kitchen, housekeeping, hospitality work on mine sites in North West Australia. Can anyone help me here!? Very much appreciated.

try this site Spotless are about the largest provider in WA for catering and cleaning services, its a good starting point for anyone looking for casual work across WA.

I work at a mine in the Northern Territory at the moment (as a geologist). There are companies that do all the cooking and cleaning and general camp management. The one here is ESS which is part of the Compass Group.

Here is a link: although I am not seeing Australian jobs listed there, just contact info for the office in Perth.

It definitely wouldnt be casual work. It is fly in fly out from Darwin at this location and I imagine other remote areas are FIFO from Perth.

Its a great way to see some remote parts of the country!

Just adding to what the others have said, most mine sites seem to use Spotless or ESS for their catering/hospitality .etc. The company I work for (as a geologist) uses ESS, and you would find pretty much all mine sites in the Pilbara are FIFO from Perth. Rosters can vary a bit but two weeks on and one week off would be pretty standard.

Hope that helps

If the gas pipeline explosion on June 3rd which has cut off one-third of the WA's domestic gas supply has the worst effect imaginable (, you might be fighting locals who have been laid off work because of it.
I certainly hope it doesn't but you could always head down the South-West (e.g. Margaret River, Albany, Esperance) for work.
