...to a TP cocktail party! What are you drinking?

It's a beautiful evening here in Philadelphia and we're drinking Mojitos with mint from the mint patch. What are you drinking?

Well, last night it was Captain Morgan's - neat. This morning, it's still just coffee but the day is young. That will change as the day ages and may be a toss-up between Captain, martinis or mojitos. I do believe Beerman said there was a bit of pineapple mint doing well in the overgrown garden. (Must go check as I think we have a bit of white rum left too.)

...at the moment I'm drinking a nice white wine.

But I would like to be drinking a raspberry martini, mmmm! Can we have cocktail snacks too please?!

Mmmmm - raspberry martinis... I think I have some raspberry vodka somewhere too. I know I have some pomegranate vodka that's pretty tasty.

As for snacks - no good cocktail party is complete without them!! So, how about everyone bring their favorite snack for cocktailing and we may not need to call out for pizza.

I've brought along a lovely tzatziki (yogurt with roasted garlic, diced cucumber and fresh dill) and some crusty homemade peasant bread for dipping. Yum!

Orange juice, lol. But I wouldn't mind something with rum.

Citron vodka martinis won out over everything else. Oh well - love them too!!! Cheer!

Shots of Tequila, by myself in a dark room with the scene in Blade Runner where Rutger Hauer dies playing over and over again on a loop, drowning my sorrows.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears...in the rain. Time to die.

Bet you are glad you asked now...

Well, tequila would certainly do it. i recommend sipping or shooting it in the Mexican Banderas fashion: 1 shot sangritas (or tomato juice w/tabasco), 1 shot tequila, 1 shot lemon/lime juice with salt on the rim. A very sensory experience.
