Quoting GregW

Shots of Tequila, by myself in a dark room with the scene in Blade Runner where Rutger Hauer dies playing over and over again on a loop, drowning my sorrows.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those ... moments will be lost in time, like tears...in the rain. Time to die.

Bet you are glad you asked now...

Beats Toronto all to hell, doesn't it??? Must watch Bladerunner again... Just watched Serenity a couple of nights ago...

Working on coffee again since it's morning again. But, Katherine's suggestion makes me think that Bloody Maria's might be in order soon. Very soon. Very, very soon.

Nachos Grande, anyone?

If you like your Bloody Mary's "meaty," check out this recipe...

Bloody Bull recipe

1 oz vodka
1/2 glass tomato juice
1/2 glass beef bouillon
1 slice lime
1 lemon wedge

Pour vodka, tomato juice, and beef bouillon over ice in a highball glass and stir. Add the slice of lime and the wedge of lemon and serve.

Personally, I am a fan of the Bloody Caesar, so I would suggest the following:

Caesar's Bloody Bull recipe

1 oz vodka
1/2 glass Clamato juice
1/2 glass beef bouillon
4 Dashes Tabasco Sauce
5 Dashes Worcestershire Sauce
Freshly Ground Pepper
1 slice lime
1 lemon wedge

Rim highball glass first with the lemon slice and then pepper. Pour vodka, Clamato juice, Tabasco, Worcestershire, a few cranks of the pepper mill and beef bouillon over ice in a highball glass and stir. Add the slice of lime and the wedge of lemon and serve.

Cheers,
Greg

A cup of tea???

If I drank I could have a choice of raspberry martinis, a selection of wines, mexican banderas and umpteen variations of "bloody bulls", but because I don't drink I can have . . . . . . tea!?!

This is outrageous. I'm phoning someone. I'm starting a whole new thread dedicated to non-alcoholic beverages. And none of you are allowed to join. In fact, it's such a protected thread, those of you who have participated in this thread can't even see it. I'm gonna . . . sod it I'm getting a cup of tea.

You can have Creole Lady Marmalade and some scones. Will that make you feel better?

Can we substitute V-8 juice for the Clamato and still have it considered a Caesar? (Maybe add just a hint of anchovy paste instead?)

We had the best mojitos last night, made by one of my best friend's new boyfriend. He's a keeper!

Although right now everything in the fridge looks slightly nauseating.
