First post here. Hi all!

What is a budget hostel in London. (Budget that is for London. I know I am going to be paying more than most European cities) I am looking for the "best" deal at around 20GBP/person/night. Looking for something (relativly) quite with no curfu. We are not big party people, so being close to good bars is not that important.

Any suggestions would be very greatly appreciated.

hello,

I can not give you advice on what hostel to stay in but I can warn you not to stay at Dover Castle hostel. I stayed there last summer because it was very cheap for London and it was horrible. It was filthy and there were very few travellers only people living there. A very large portion of the people living there that would do cocain in the kitchen and stay up all night making tons of noise! Don't stay there.

Many thanks for the advice.

Living in London I have no need for a hostel, however i have found hostelbookers good for finding hostels, and then use trip advisor to get an honest account of what it is like (I have always found the reviews accurate). They have a good section which allows you to -snip
here. I hope it helps!

Though I've never stayed there I've also heard very good things about Palmer's
