Hi Guys,
Have spent the last months searching for a way to get from Mexico to Cuba by sea, have heard all sorts of things about there being a ferry or boat service that goes from cancun or that side of the yucatan coast to cuba.
Does anyone know anything? If don't know for sure please dont say there isnt, i've had a lot of people say there is no boat but ive read accounts of people doing the crossing on a regular ferry service.. Have considered flying but would rather go via sea..
Thanks for any help you might have

I think you're out of luck. I've never even heard of ships carrying passengers into Cuba from anywhere since the days of Russian domination. The reason, air travel is considerably cheaper and no company is willing to outlay millions to start up service for international transport.

Do you reckon there are cargo ships you can hitch a ride on??!! Be careful though.... Not sure how it would work with immigration. I also looked into this for a long while and did not get any definite answers. There will be a forum on here somewhere about it.
