A pale blue box containing what are thought to be a dead person's ashes has been found at the Empire Theatre in Liverpool.

The box was left in the auditorium after a performance by Scouse medium Derek Acorah and former star of TV's Most Haunted programme.

Person's ashes found in theatre

You think the medium would have said something, like...

"Okay, I am getting a message... It's from someone whose name starts with P... or S... or maybe D? They are saying... they are saying... 'You moron, you are going to forget my mortal remains at seat 12 in section 113. Why did you even bring me out? You know I hate live theatre.' Hmmm, does that mean anything to anyone?"

Maybe Nanny liked the theatre...

Maybe Grandma was a restless spirit and found her own way to the theater...

My great uncle's urn would move during the night. My great aunt wanted it on the mantle but he liked the table by the window which was next to his favorite chair. She used to move it back to the mantle, scolding him as she did. Next morning, back on the table. This went on for years.

I will say that this is a bit weird, but not nearly as weird as sex with cars.

Ashes to ashes
Dust unto dust
If the Devil don't get ya
The cinema must.
