I got onto famous places in medium. God, I suck at Asian geography!! Other than that I was pretty happy with my knowledge.

I can never get past Level 7!

But from playing that a gazillion times at my last job, I've sure learned a lot. More than the job taught me.

Gotta try again - I keep barely not making it past Level 6:(

Woooo!!!! Made it to level 10 for the first time ever!!!!

Then I had absolutely no idea where anything was.

Level 8 on the first go. I blame a dodgy mouse

I played it 5 or 6 times when it first came out. Level 12 first time, 11 the second (with a higher score) then the rest were 12.

I gave up bothering at that point - partly because allot of the obscure places come up frequently (meaning people that have no idea where they are can learn them as they only have a small dataset being used) and also because a couple of my friends then played loads of times just to beat my score, and I figured that it was just going to become hyper competitive if i beat them again and couldn't be arsed!

Slightly depressingly though - bearing in mind what i do for a living - they did a challenge at work, 1 attempt for everybody, and only 1 other person even got to level 10. Most were at levels 5-7. And as we're mostly supposed to be experts in geography, that worried me somewhat

I had 12 the first time as wel, IQ 139 (which is a lot higher than my maths IQ), but that's the world version and is relatively 'easy'
You should play the others as well. Try Africa, after a while they come up with soccer teams

Do you have a job for me;) I am a bit of a topography freak myself, but not working in that branch. Just had straight A's since I was a kid.

Try Geosense by the way as well, but only the advanced world version, it has quite a large database.

Cheers!

Oh, I love that game and am up to level 12. No progress lately :(, just always get confused with all the islands like Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Christmas Island and the ones in Oceania. Anyone ever been there?
