Hot Tea-A Cool Idea in Summer
Drinks are popular during the summer. The best choice is hot tea, rather than colddrinks, beer or coffee. The common daily
drink, which contains rich kalium (the soft, silver-white metallic chemical element that oxidizes rapidly when exposed to air), may quench your thirst and help you relieve fatigue. As experimental results of British scientists indicate, hot tea has a much stronger effect on lowering the body's temperature than cold drinks.

Hot tea just makes you hotter. I can't fathom for a second sitting out in 30C+ weather with the sun beating down and the sweat rolling down your back and thinking 'What I need now is a nice, steaming cup of hot tea!"

Gimme iced tea any day. Or lemonade--the real kind (not 7UP, for you crazies out there! ;)).

I honestly think I would faint away into my cup if I had to drink hot tea on a sweltering day. It's like wine. I prefer red, but if I'm out in the heat I'll pick a big, cold bottle of white. Or sangria, of course.

a few years back in egypt an old man said that the hot tea works better at cooling you down because a cold drink shocks the body and you start to sweat more !?
