Oh, that's really heavy to choose
Florence is amazing, so much to see, cant be missed!
but i love Siena that much!...
They both on the way between Roma to Venice.. but ummmm.....
i want to add to all that said here:
Siena is smaller - 1 full day ( 2nights) - it's enough to see it all.
For Florence need at least 3-4 full days,
2 days (or less?) - it's definatelly not enough.
wish you happy trip
and every choice you will do - you win
I would like to stay in Florence.....

Florence. Hands down. Florence, Florence, Florence. Siena is sort of interesting, but next to Florence, it's nothing. I spent three weeks in Florence in April and fell in love with the city. I would recommend contacting Ana and Lorenzo at florencehousing.it for lodging options.
You should see the Uffizi, go to Fiesole, visit Piazza Michelangelo, and walk all around the area surrounding il Duomo. A walk through Boboli Garden is well worth your time as well.
