Hello all,

I plan to cross Ireland in september but i'll get Northern Ireland first.
So i was wondering if it's possible to take the bus from Belfast to Galway.
I looked on the bus eireann's website, but you can't choose a northern ireland city as start point.

I read in a guide that from derry it's possible to get galway from derry by Bus eireann, but as you can't select a northern ireland city..the problem is the same..

thx.

I found this, but don't how you book it. Looks like it's three tickets with NI issuing the Belfast to Enniskillen section and the Republic issuing the Sligo to Galway section, but I don't know who issues the Enniskillen to Sligo section - I would guess NI because you're coming from that direction, but you can't seem to book it on eithers' website. May have to send an email or make a call. Good Luck!

Thank you.

So, if i read well there are only two buses which go from Belfast to Galway. 11h05 and 15h05.
I think i'll write them to know.

The distance between these two cities is not really big (only 300km), maybe it's more interesting to rent a car.. i'll see.
