Im from England and Ive done a bit of travel over the last couple years, ive travelled around Spain, France, Belgium, Holland, Germany, Greece, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and Australia.
I have about £2000 left in total.
If in my situation where would you go? I want it to be somewhere i havnt been before but everywhere is sounding good, its so confusing!
If you want your money to last as long as possible, you should go to Asia. Else, you should also tell us how much time you have.
It depends on how long you have, but if you want to spend as much time travelling as possible I would probably travel overland to Eastern Europa and the Balkan, into Turkey and to Georgia/Armenia/Azerbaijan and/or Syria/Lebanon/Jordan.
Cheap countries and loads of culture and nature to explore.
If it wouldn't be a problem to spend some more money on a plane ticket, I would certainly go to South America and spend a month or so exploring parts of Argentina, Bolivia. Or maybe northern Colombia.
Hi thanks for the responses. To be honest there isnt a time limit, just that money limit!
I will definatly look into perhaps eastern Europe. But what i have seen of Asia i loved and its cheap but its just that a plane ticket that far would take alot of my money. But i def want to go. Apart from (thailand, Singapore and Malaysia) where else would you recommend.
Any more responses welcome xxx
you could always go to Beijing
the olympics are about to start so
its probably bustling right now
fuel there is outragous though
have you ever thought about

How about Vietnam, food and accomodation much cheaper than Thailand.I'm going back in August 2nd time great little countryfor a cheap holiday
without any doubt : INDIA !!
Thanks for all the ideas!
And yes Dwitch i started thinking about Vietnam. Are you going to travel the whole country or do you just stay in one place? & do you just stay in Vietnam?
Cheaper than Thailand sounds goood to me! & i'd be very interested in learning more about the Vietnam war.
hmm India sounds good too....
Well if time is no problem but money is then i would suggest asia again. In particular the Philippines (seeing as you haven't been there yet) which is ridiculously cheap. You can get there for under £500 (first fly to Hong Kong then a cheap flight over there with CebuPacific wll save you about £200-£300 rather than flying direct), which will leave you with £1500 which can easily last you for at least 6 months if you can stay in hostels and live within a budget.
