I am heading off in January for a few months travel in SE Asia, Oz and New Zealand. (7 or 8 months)I was just wondering, will I need to bring an outdoor jacket, as in something that's made for all climates? It's not like I plan on trekking my way through these countries but I would like to do some outdoor activities and I presume I will need something more hardy than my trusty denim jacket?! Any recommendations? I don't want to spend the cash on something good and then wear it twice. Thanks!
hello there madgie, i am also doing a pretty similar trip as urs but i am finishing with a trip around soiuth america.!!!!
i have just decided to take a sort of mack thing, its fairly thin so its light weight. The idea is to but on a jumper underneath if u get cold. i'm told it doesn't get that cold just a bit wet
Hope that helps a little
have a good trip
I wouldn't take a jean jacket to those places. Go to a camping store in a city near where you live and ask them what the best jacket would be to take to the places that you will be travelling to.
