Hi,

How can I unsubscribe from some of the threads I subscribed too?

I did a search and found an entry I think from Isadora saying she could one by one untick them. But I can't seem to find that option anywhere?

Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thanks

At the bottom (and top) of every thread there should be a link to unsubscribe. Alternatively, when you respond to the thread, you can untick the box as well. Though obviously that requires a response, which is kind of weird

Thanks Peter. I will do it that way for anything I get now. When I read the other post i found this link and thought I was missing something as it looked like you could tick what you were subscribed to or not. Which is a kinda good idea, no?

If the unsubscribe checkbox function were to be added, it should go nicely on Your Last 50 Subscriptions page. :)

Peter, can we have the subscriptions page link next to "Subscribe to this thread" at the top and bottom?

If it's too long, we can shorten the titles to

Reply | Subscribe | My Subscriptions | Start New Thread

and use tooltips to describe in full what each is for.

I think I already inquired about it before (but my Swiss cheese memory is coming up blank), but is there any way to have one big "Unsubscribe from all" button? It's always a mad panic to unsubscribe before going on vacation, and I always forget tons of threads. I've tried removing my email address from my profile, but I still got notifications.

Is it doable...?

Would be nice if that link were available in the control panel somewhere too! Or on the forums page

And just as the Subscription page has a link to the Latest Posts page, the latter should also be linked to the former.

I'm going to take this a tad off topic for a minute...

Recently, but it started prior to my latest OS update last week, I am automatically subscribed to the threads I create. I didn't notice it at the time of posting the thread but then I got the e-mail notifications of replies. I just posted a thread for Phil and made sure to look after I hit submit and I was subscribed to it. How long has this been part of the system? (Just curious how behind I am on upgrades.) It's a cool thing for those posting questions in the regular forums. I just have to remember to unsubscribe when I post things like birthday threads.

Ok guys, I think I've got all this covered

  • Links to your forum posts posts + your subscribed threads are on most forum pages
  • Checkboxes to bulk-unsubscribe are available on the subscribed threads page
  • An option to "select all" is available. (it will only select the 50 on that page though, not ALL threads you are actually subscribed to)

As a bonus, I've also added pagination to the subscriptions page, so you can step through them all and unsubscribe from much older threads. There is also a count displayed of how many threads you are actually subscribed to. Didn't realise I was actually subscribed to 1865 threads. Yikes.

That's a great addition to have Peter. No more fears of a flooded inbox!

Thanks very much for the work you put in
