I have not gone to Hong Kong and Macau yet but will be going on October... but here are what some of the guys here recommended me for both cities.

For HongKOng, Victoria Peak, Victoria Harbor aboard the Star Ferry, the nightly light show at the harbor, Temple St., and the giant buddha of Tian Tan.

For Macau, the Macau Tower, Coloane Village, A Ma Village, the Venetian and Cotai Strip, St. Paul's Ruins, Senado Square.

For Singapore, which I've been to numerously, I'd recommend you to not miss the Sentosa island especially the laser show at night, the Fountain of Wealth in Suntec City, the Night Safari, of course the Merlions in Marina Bay, in Mt. Faber or in Sentosa.... Also checkout the beautiful Esplanade... you can shop along Orchard Road, or in Bugis, or in Chinatown.. they've got the new Singapore Flyer which I have not tried yet... you can take a cruise along Singapore River, you can take the ride from Clarke Quay or Boat Quay...

I have been to the 3 places.

I spent 29 days in Macau...

1. The icon of the city, the Ruins of Saint Paul. Well you can get a Map from a tourism office, which is everywhere. There lots of old churches that are listed as unesco sites. If you don't care about old portugese architecture and churches, you'll see other stuff:

2. THE VENETIAN.... its a must. Its in the COTAI STRIP, the reclaimed area that will soon be a mega Las Vegas wonderland.

3. TAIPA, some old pastel colored houses and small streets. I just love those small streets with vertical houses.

4. COLOANE, my favorite... there is a LAKE, its so TORQUOISE, you would have to climb hills to see it. Where is it? Go to the COLOANE BEACH, the grey sand beach. and then just ask the BBQ vendors.

5. They have nice casinos... they look great at night, espcially the Lisboa in the center of the city.

6. If you dont mind a theme park looking place, go to the FISHERMEN'S WARF, its just beautiful.

Singapore-wise, I would recommend the day zoo over the Night Safari, though you can get a combo ticket for both (they're just next to each other).

The beaches on Sentosa Island are nice. Go on the luge, and chill out at Cafe del Mar in the evening (it opens till 4am and has a its own shuttle bus from the monorail station). If you have spare cash and want to splurge on some good seafood by the beach, the Amara Spa Resort has a place where you can select your own fresh catch and they'll barbeque it on the spot.

Cycling and exploring the mangroves on Pulau Ubin is not something tourists usually do, but definitely is something off the beaten path that's worth seeing before it's gone. The island is Singapore's last rural community. There's a guided mangrove tour that has to be booked way in advance.
