I am traveling to Europe first week of August, and want to ask if it is worth buying "Eurail Benelux-France Pass" or just buy individual tickets..... I want to see France and go to Belgium and/or Amsterdam.... somewhere nice!!!! I have never been there.

pass is around $360+..... is it worth it?!

Go to this website www.railsaver.com

It will give you suggestions of the different options you can take.

Good luck!

going from that website, I guess I should buy a EuroPass in states, as ticket one-way from Paris to Amsterdam is $160....!!!

is that right?!

see EUrail and Interrail, and links on that page.

It's difficult to say whether it's worth it or not. If you have a lot of time, buying loose tickets for regional trains is probably cheaper, but that requires a lot of changing trains and seriously limits the distances you can travel. Direct international trains and long-distance trains, unless you book WAY in advance, are quite expensive, especially Thalys between Amsterdam and Paris.
