has anyobne dobne this??/ got any info
There are several groups that call themselves 'Easy Riders', One is 'official'. Or is it this one?.
I don't know either.
Here is an article that may be helpful. I was quoted $50/day when I talked to several of the Easy Riders boys when I was in DaLat. That was out of my budget range and did not pursue it any further. That price maybe negotiable when booking multi day tours. Good Luck.
As I know the travel agencies often organize tour for a group who travel by motorbike but you have a group or they had a group you can join.
I did a one day trip with an Easy Rider. It was worth every penny -in fact it was one of my best days in Vietnam.
I would've done more but I was skint (robbed in Saigon!) and living from town to town on Western Union handouts!
I met some guys in DaLat but had already got a bus ticket upto Danang/HoiAn, but it gave me a chance to think it over.
Luckily outside Danang train station I met a guy who brought me to HoiAn on his bike, we got on really well. He even stopped at points of interest that morning despite being just used as a taxi service. Later over coffee we haggled the price of a day trip whereby he'd take me the short distance from HoiAn to Hue.
It was fantastic, the scenery on route, the stopovers I could never have made on public transport, the running commentary on history and architecture. Best of all was the lunch beside a beautiful waterfall whereby I was the only westerner swimming with Vietnamese families -taking photos of the pure white Irish girl!
$30 last year - memories forever.
