Im arriving Santiago and doing a 2 week gapadventue tour ending in Buenos Aires. Then travelling to Iguazu Falls and then into Brazil. Has anyone used buses from Foz do IguaƧu to Curitiba to Rio? We have someone to visit in Curitiba then want to head for Rio. Im having trouble trying to find out about buses.

Also we have 30 days to get from Foz to Rio does anyone have any other places that maybe worth a visit in Brazil?

Thanks

Hey Adell,
By bus from Foz do Iguacu to Rio is a 23 hours trip.
The bus companies are:

Also check our low cost airlines:

Cheers,
Bruno.

Hi!
Just adding more informations about what the others said: you can go by bus to Rio, enjoy the city and from there go to Ouro Preto town(is one of the most importats historical towns in Brazil). from Rio to there it takes around 6 hours by bus and the travel is through a historical road called Estrada Real(Royal Road). From Ouro preto you can go to very nice places around.
If you like places "out off beaten track" take a look in this site, it can give you very good options including hotels, tours and food.
