Hi My husband and I are planning are 3 month trip around South East Asia and would like to visit Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. Any suggestions as to where we should go and where we should avoid.

We are first time travellers and in our 30's. Don't even know where to start, any good websites for flights, accomodation, getting around, must sees, must dos. What would be a realistic budget for 3 months???

Start at the bookstore - I suggest Rough Guides (just remember pricing in these guides is always out of date), then go to (they're excellent for SEA).
This one's good for Vietnam:

You will need visa for Indochina only - Cambodia & Laos you can buy at the border or airport, but Vietnam must be done at a Vietnamese Embassy or online (Visa on Arrival - air arrivals only).

Hiii! Why don't you think that Viet Nam will be one of your vacation those days? I had been there several months ago and I'm sure you will find it worth traveling. The two morden cities Ha Noi and Ho CHi Minh city really gave me impression, in addition, I visited some other beautiful places around Viet Nam such as Ha Long Bay, Hoi An ancient city or Hue, etc... You will love sunny beaches in Nha Trang, Vung Tau which Viet nam country is recently famous for.
