Jimberan Bay is beautiful - beach with lots of seafood restaurants with tables and chairs on the beach. Go down just for sun set see the fishermen heading out to sea for the evening, watch the sun go down then pick a restaurant, pick your own fish and try a bottle of the local wine which was surprisingly good! Perfect way to spend an evening - taxis are easily and readily available outside.

Ubud is a great town to visit too - artisan feel, great big market and surrounded by tiered rice fields. Or Celuk which is know for its silversmiths.

Kuta is probably the main tourist trap and on the beach you will get hounded with people selling thier wares - if your not interested politely but firmly say no and they should go away.

I need to think of more - l loved Bali!

You have to go to the beach in Kuta, Jimbaran, Seminyak, Uluwatu. Ubud is up in the mountain and it's really tranquil and peaceful. The happenings/nightlife is in Kuta and Seminyak. What you have to look out for is when walking in Kuta there are people offering you for a chance to win stuff (i.e. trips, electronics, etc.). Please just ignore them and politely refuse their offer and walk away. That's the only thing you need to look out for. Other than that, people in Bali are just friendly and enjoyable. Enjoy your time in Bali.
