hi all

i am a young australian business man heading to san fran for a conference in september. i am very excited!!

I will be staying in san fran for a week in september

i am looking for somewhere to stay and looking for recommendations

ideally i like
- what we call self catering serviced apartments here, full kitchen and fridge

id also like it in a funky area but accessible to downtown

The Executive Hotel Vintage Court located Union Square area each room is christened after a local winery with accompanying artwork and d├ęcor

A place with a kitchen in central SF will be hard to come by, but it can be done. I know the Beresford Arms, close to Union Sq. has small kitchens in their suites:

These places listed by jeantyc and Daawgon should work well for you if you are in town for a conference. The Moscone conference center is easy walking distance from both of these hotels, and the walk is through a good part of town.

I thought you should know, SF is quite hard to book in Sept-Oct since it is the one time of year the city gets really great weather. Many fairs/concerts, etc. take place then and rooms are in extremely high demand.
